Abstract: Forestry pests and diseases are important factors that restrict the healthy and sustainable development of forestry. They will not only break the original forest ecosystem, but also cause widespread death of vegetation, which directly affects the economic benefits of forestry. In this paper, the categories and characteristics of forestry diseases and insect pests were expounded, the causes of forestry diseases and insect pests were analyzed, and the control measures of forestry diseases and insect pests were put forward.
