Abstract: In the planting of Benincasa hispida in Yulin City, adopting the vertical planting mode can not only prevent the sun from burning Benincasa hispida, but also avoid the rotten melon on cloudy days, reduce the loss of melon farmers, improve the quality of Benincasa hispida products, and be loved by vegetable farmers. Based on this, taking the planting requirements of Benincasa hispida as the starting point, this paper briefly analyzed the requirements of temperature, moisture, light and soil of Benincasa hispida, and put forward the key points of vertical planting technology and measures for disease and pest control of Benincasa hispida, in order to provide reference for relevant growers and help the development of Benincasa hispida industry.
