Abstract: In northern Shanxi, there are less tomato cultivation in solar greenhouse and more leafy vegetables, but the economic income of leafy vegetables is relatively low, and the market demand is less than that of tomato. Low temperature and humidity are the main factors leading to low fruit yield, failure to mature as expected and decline in yield and quality of tomato. By comparing the changes of temperature, humidity and CO₂ concentration in the two sheds, it is concluded that the use of multi span shed can increase the temperature, reduce humidity, increase CO₂ appropriately, reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests, reduce the cost and improve the yield.
