Abstract: In the market economy system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, forestry economy is an important part. In addition to the economic benefits of forestry, the ecological protection of forestry can not be ignored. In the work of forestry protection in China, there are some problems such as insufficient attention to forestry protection and lack of perfect forestry protection policies. In view of this situation, this paper studies the shortcomings of forestry protection work under the background of market economy in China, and puts forward some suggestions for forestry protection work measures.
