Abstract: Soybean and maize belt composite planting technology makes use of the characteristics of maize and soybean growing in the same season, sowing maize belt and soybean belt in the same plot to ensure the yield of maize is not reduced, and improve the self-sufficiency rate of soybean, which is of great significance to improve the planting structure of agricultural products in China and ensure the national strategic security. This paper introduced the principle and technical advantages of soybean and maize strip composite planting technology, and summarized the key points of soybean and maize strip composite planting technology in Youyu County, in order to provide useful reference for developing soybean and maize strip composite planting in areas with similar production conditions.
