Abstract:
In order to investigate the effects of calcium stress on the growth of Eucalyptus robusta seedling, the seedling height, average growth rate, ground diameter and biomass of Eucalyptus robusta seedling were investigated under different calcium concentrations. The results showed that Eucalyptus robusta seedling treated with 100% nutrient solution had the highest net growth(85.1 cm),the highest average growth rate of seedling height(1.42 cm/d), the largest ground diameter(0.98 cm), the highest number of branches(25) and the highest biomass. The results showed that the average growth rate of seedling height under calcium deficiency, low calcium content or excessive calcium treatment was higher than that of blank control(CK) without nutrient solution treatment. Compared with CK, the ground diameter of Eucalyptus robusta seedling under nutrient solution treatment was significantly increased.Poor soil conditions can promote the root growth of Eucalyptus robusta seedling.
