Abstract: North of Shanxi is the main potato production area in Shanxi Province. The development of potato industry in this region is restricted due to complex and changeable ecological environment, extensive farming methods, lack of high-quality planting techniques, and low yields etc. Jinshu No.29 is a new potato variety（Hutou as female parent, and Jinshu No.14 as male parent） jointly bred by Xixian Agricultural Experiment Station and W uzhai Agricultural Experiment Station. This article introduces the characteristics and high-yield cultivation techniques of Jinshu No.29 variety, aiming to provide certain technical guidance for the promotion of this variety.
