Abstract: According to its unique climate and geographical characteristics, Jiuquan area focuses on building a modern scientific and technological new agricultural development system and structural system, so as to improve the planting, operation and management ability, and actively build a characteristic agriculture in line with the current market demand and regional advantages. At the same time, the quality, productivity and benefits of cultivated land have been comprehensively improved, which has promoted the healthy development of regional agricultural industry. Through the investigation of the characteristics and development status of agricultural planting in Jiuquan area, this paper discusses the development ideas of this area, in order to provide reference for the progress and healthy development of agricultural industry.
