Abstract: In view of the influence of terrain, construction experience and other factors in the gully region of loess plateau, in addition to the lack of mature technology and construction technology, the construction difficulties were not fully controlled during the construction process, resulting in problems such as increased construction costs. This paper takes Baibaochuan small hill gully as an example to illustrate the construction process, construction method, risk control and matters needing attention in the construction process in the gully area, at the same time, the Cass software is used to calculate the location of the excavation outline of cutting slope and combined with practice, which is intended to provide reference for the gully harness and reclaiming land of gully region of loess plateau in the future.
