Abstract: Under the background of world environmental protection theme and national forest property right system reform, the role of public welfare forest in ecological protection and national economy is increasingly prominent. This paper comprehensively combs the current situation of public welfare forest management, and discusses the corresponding optimization measures in view of the management difficulties in practice, so as to improve the current management system of public welfare forest in China, realize the winwin economic benefits on the basis of ensuring its ecological function, and finally promote the sustainable development of forestry in China.
