Abstract: In the present study, a new scoring method for the practice course of plant chemical protection was developed based on its current status and the aim was to develop students’ professional cognitive and practical ability. This method was constructed by reforming the scoring composition, scoring standard and the proportion, with three parts: practice training scoring, practice process scoring and post-practice scoring. The scoring focused on the comprehensiveness, process and guide in the course scoring. The effects of the scoring method on students’ practice achievement were investigated via course communication to improve this scoring method. This method has been applied to the daily practical teaching in order to improve the education quality of the plant protection major.
