Abstract: Seed is the key to food security. The self-reliance and self-improvement of seed industry technology mainly depend on talents. The construction of new agricultural science has pointed out the reform direction for the cultivation of professional talents in seed industry. In view of the problems existing in the traditional cultivation mode of seed industry talents, the cultivation mode of seed industry talents under the background of new agricultural construction was discussed from the aspects of reforming the curriculum system to strengthen the comprehensive quality of students, optimizing the teaching concept to cultivate students’ feelings about agriculture, agriculture, and deepening practical exercise to enhance students’ innovative ability.
