探讨近海台风突然增强与大气热源的关系
Explore the Relationship between the Sudden Intensification of Offshore Typhoons and Atmospheric Heat Sources

摘要: 利用1949年—2016年西北太平洋的热带气旋资料,筛选强厄尔尼诺年在我国近海海域中心强度突然增强(标准为6小时变压小于-7.87 hPa)的热带气旋,利用倒算法对1949年—2016年的大气热源及水汽源进行计算和分析。发现对流层中低层的大气热源垂直加热率增加,有利于热带气旋的增强。水汽源的垂直加热率较低,对于台风突然增强则没有明显的促进关系。台风增强前6 h的加热率为台风加强提供了热量支撑的作用,有些台风增强后6 h仍会增强,整个区域的加热率也相应地增大,为后续的台风增强提供热量。Abstract: Based on the data of tropical cyclones in the Northwest Pacific from 1949 to 2016, the tropical cyclones with sudden increase in the central intensity in Chinese offshore waters in strong El Nino years are selected. The atmospheric heat source and water vapor source from 1949 to 2016 are calculated and analyzed by using the back calculation method. It is found that the vertical heating rate of atmospheric heat source in the middle and lower troposphere increases, which is conducive to the enhancement of tropical cyclone. The vertical heating rate of water vapor source is low, and there is no obvious promotion relationship for the sudden enhancement of typhoon. The heating rate 6 hours before typhoon enhancement provides heat support for typhoon enhancement. Some typhoons will still enhance 6 hours after typhoon enhancement, and the heating rate of the whole region will also increase accordingly, providing heat for subsequent typhoon enhancement.
