Abstract: Against the backdrop of the "big food" perspective, this paper provided an overview of the current status of fishery development in Liaoning Province, focusing on aspects such as abundant resource supply, enhanced aquaculture capacity, and government policy support. It also identifies challenges faced by fishery development in Liaoning Province and proposes three recommendations:strengthening fish processing technology, promoting coordinated development across the entire value chain, and advancing modern deep-sea aquaculture. These suggestions aim to provide valuable insights for promoting the growth of Liaoning’s fishery industry.
