Abstract: The climate of Laiyuan County is cold, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and the harm of vegetable planting diseases and pests is light, which is conducive to the cultivation of the large-date Brassica oleracea in open field. The county has convenient transportation, and the residents in the surrounding areas have the eating habits of autumn pickles, with a large Brassica oleracea sales market. The key cultivation techniques from variety selection to harvest were expound, in order to provide the Brassica oleracea basis for planting the large-date Brassica oleracea in Laiyuan County, and further to increase production and income of local farmers.
