Abstract: The 33rd regiment is located at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain, between Taklimakan Desert and Kumtag Desert,north of Kongque River and south of Tarim River. It has a continental desert climate, with sparse precipitation, abundant sunshine,sandy soil and heavy salinity. It is suitable for planting cotton, which is an important economic crop in our region. Combined with the investigation of high-yield and high-quality cotton fields, this paper studies the cotton boll distribution and cultivation techniques in high-quality and high-yield cotton fields.
