Abstract: Based on the 4YZX-2B small maize harvester produced by Xiangyuan Renda Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd.,this paper improved the design of 4YZZ-2 small maize harvester, which retained the original walking chassis, main drive and working clutch, maize cutting table and conveying trough. Added maize sheller, cleaning fan, cleaning screen, maize cob crusher, grain box, loading and unloading mechanism and the corresponding transmission mechanism. The overall structure design layout is reasonable, the overall size and the weight of the whole machine do not exceed the original model, and the original mobile performance is retained, which is suitable for harvest operations in hilly and mountainous areas, and also suitable for harvest operations in flat lands.
