Abstract: Tea endophytes have a great impact on the environment and metabolism of tea plants. At present, the research on plant endophytes has been relatively rich, but the research on tea endophytes is insufficient. This paper expounds the research progress of tea endophytes from the aspects of isolation, identification, distribution and biological function of tea endophytes, which provides a reference for the further research and a certain theoretical basis for the resource development of tea endophytes.
