Abstract: Maize is the main food crop in Liulin County, but due to the lack of relevant technology and agricultural equipment, the maize yield in Liulin area is often affected by diseases and pests. This paper investigates the common types of diseases and insect pests in this area, analyzes the causes of the outbreak of diseases and insect pests, and puts forward some prevention and control strategies of diseases and insect pests in combination with the development trend, so as to improve the quality and yield of maize.
