Abstract: In recent years, the development of edible fungi industry in Shanxi Province is obvious, especially in the promotion of poverty alleviation by characteristic industries, edible fungi has become one of the important characteristic industries for poverty counties to get rid of poverty and become rich. This paper introduced the development of edible fungi industry in Shanxi Province and the role of the industry in poverty alleviation, list the effective measures for industrial development, discussed the problems existing in the industrial development, and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
