Abstract: Soybean and maize belt compound planting technology can perfectly solve the contradiction between soybean and maize for land. It is of great significance to increase farmers’ income and promote national grain and oil security while ensuring that the yield of maize is basically not reduced. In 2022, the Agricultural Machinery Extension Station of Yili Prefecture carried out the experiment and demonstration of soybean and maize belt compound planting technology, actively exploring the technical feasibility and applicability of this technology in Yili Prefecture, and accumulating relevant experience, providing theoretical guidance and technical support for the popularization and application of this technology in the later stage.
