Abstract: This paper analyzes the development status of processing potato industry in Shanxi, and the problems existing in the production process of processing potato, such as low degree of production mechanization, imperfect marketing organization system,shortage of development funds and lack of perfect quality supervision mechanism, and puts forward some suggestions on improving modern mechanized production mode, establishing excellent breeding system Strengthen supervision, ensure quality and quantity, establish a perfect marketing system and brand strategy.
