Abstract: The use of chemical fertilizer has brought about grain increase and damage to soil environment. Xinjiang has been promoting the action of zero growth in fertilizer use since 2015, and has made great progress in improving soil environment, production and use of organic fertilizer and development of new fertilizer. This paper introduces the progress of chemical fertilizer reduction and efficiency improvement in Xinjiang in 2020, and puts forward a series of solutions by analyzing the problems, hoping to provide reference for the reduction and efficiency improvement of chemical fertilizer in this region and even the whole country.
