Abstract: In order to cope with the impact of sudden climate on Ipomoea batatas planting, based on the analysis of the impact of climate change on Ipomoea batatas planting, this paper expounded the strategies to cope with climate change from the aspects of improving variety selection, strengthening irrigation management, disease and pest control and so on. The advantages and effects of constructing meteorological monitoring system, introducing new varieties resistant to drought and waterlogging, adjusting cultivation management measures, and launching planting insurance of Ipomoea batatas are introduced to ensure the sustainable development of Ipomoea batatas industry.
