Abstract:
Jili No.5 is a medium and dwarf variety of Chenopodium quinoa with medium growth period,which is bred by cutting ears and bagging artificial assisted hybridization,crossing Andes Quinine Chenopodium quinoa and Peru black Chenopodium qui‐noa,through ear line selection,variety comparison,regional adaptability test,multi-point production identification for many years and large-scale demonstration.The variety has a medium growth period of 115 days,a plant height of 160 cm,48 spikelets,a grain weight of 45 g per ear,a 1 000 grain weight of 3.65 g,a unit weight of 665 g,a crude protein content of 15.20%,a crude fat conten of 4.50%,and a crude starch content of 65.70%.The average yield of dry land planting is 2 626.10 kg/hm~2,which is 264.77 kg hm~2higher than the control variety Jizhi No.1,with an increase of 11.21%.
