Pesticide theory is the basic course of plant quarantine specialty. Combined with the training program and the characteristics of the course, the main teacher adopts student-led diversified teaching methods, timely updating the professional knowledge and research progress of pesticide science, establishing a more scientific teaching evaluation system and other measures to improve students’ learning initiative and enthusiasm. At the same time, students are guided to look up the latest literature in the field of pesticide science, carry out extended lectures in class, and let students discuss in groups.
