Abstract: Oridonin, an ent-kaurane diterpenoid, is found in the Chinese herb Rabdosia rubescens and some related species,and has various biological activities such as anti-tumor, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory. The structure modification mode of oridonin is discussed, and the extraction process and process optimization method of oridonin are further described. Ultrasound-assisted ethanol reflux extraction can be used to extract the active ingredients and chromatography fusion recrystallization method can be used to purify oridonin.
