Abstract:
Taking the soil carbon sequestration ability of Jinggang honey pomelo forest in Ji’an city,Jiangxi Province as an example the soil carbon storage and distribution were studied.Firstly, the soil of Jinggang honey Pomelo forest in 5 areas of Ji’an was investi‐gated and sampled, and then the organic carbon content was obtained by laboratory test and analysis, and the carbon storage at each level of the soil was calculated. The results are as follows:First, with the increase of soil depth, the organic carbon content of soil lay‐er in each sample plot basically showed a decreasing trend. The degree of reduction of soil organic carbon content in different plots was different, and the deeper the soil was,the slower the decline rate was, indicating that the surface soil had a strong carbon seques‐tration ability. There are great differences in soil organic carbon content in different soil layers.Second, the organic carbon storage of0~10 cm soil layer was the highest, indicating that the contribution rate of topsoil to soil carbon storage was the largest, and there was little difference between soil carbon storage of 10~20 cm and 20~30 cm.Third, the highest carbon storage of 0~30 cm soil layer in Jishui was 35.17 t/hm~2,but it was still lower than the average organic carbon density of 0~20 cm soil layer in Jiangxi Province of38.9 t/hm~2,indicating that the carbon fixation capacity of soil in Jinggang honey pomelo forest was weak.Fourth, according to the da‐ta of the compilation group of China Biodiversity National Report, the carbon price is 260.90 yuan/t,and the economic benefits of carbon sink of Jinggang honey pomelo forest in this test plot are 7 451 yuan/hm~2,9 175 yuan/hm~2,3 130 yuan/hm~2,5 478 yuan/hm~2and 6 265 yuan/hm~2,respectively.It still has a certain economic value of carbon sink. The research results can provide reference for improving the soil carbon sequestration ability of Jinggang honey pomelo industry in Ji’an City,so as to achieve both economic and environmental protection harvest.
