Abstract: Animal microecological preparations are widely used in animal husbandry, with the advantages of no pollution, no residue, clean environmental protection, and no drug resistance. At present, there are still the following problems in the research, development and application of animal micro-ecological preparations: weak basic research and development capacity, insufficient in-depth mechanism research, weak strain screening and cultivation capacity, less collaborative research on compound strain preparations and drugs, lack of cost-effective production technology, lack of guaranteed strain safety, limited use scenarios, and lack of industry norms. This paper put forward the following solutions to these problems: it is necessary to further strengthen independent research and development, accurately screen probiotics, improve production process, standardize fermentation behavior, improve the evaluation system, and make scientific use of it, so as to promote the stable development of China’s animal husbandry after the reduction of antimicrobial drugs, and finally achieve the effect of green ecological breeding.
