Abstract: Alfalfa has higher nutritional value and palatability, is more popular with livestock and poultry, and has a strong role in nitrogen fixation and soil modification. It has played an important role in the development of agriculture and animal husbandry and the construction of ecological environment. In recent years, with the increasing demand for alfalfa and other forages, higher requirements for alfalfa yield and quality have been put forward. How to ensure alfalfa yield and quality has become a key problem. This paper summarizes the uses of alfalfa, and focuses on the key cultivation techniques of high quality and high yield of alfalfa.
