Abstract: With the improvement of people’s health awareness, foods with the homology of medicine and food are more and more favored by people. Codonopsis is a traditional precious Chinese medicinal material with the same medicine and food, and it is also one of the authentic medicinal materials in Shanxi Province. This article analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the development and utilization of codonopsis pilosula resources in Shanxi Province, and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development and utilization of the same food and medicine plants in Shanxi Province, hoping to provide reference for the development of the homology of medicine and food industry in Shanxi Province.
