Abstract: the conventional water-saving technology of field maize without winter irrigation has significant water-saving and yield increasing benefits. It can minimize the evaporation loss and leakage loss of soil water. It is of great significance to improve the efficiency and benefit of water resources utilization and realize farmland water saving, agricultural yield increase and farmers’ income increase.
