Abstract: Taking the rear mounted suspension horizontal shaft rotary cultivator as an example, this paper expounds the structure and working principle of the rotary cultivator, analyzes the soil cutting and crushing process and stress of the rotary cultivator, analyzes the main parameters and technical points of the rotary cultivator matched with the wheeled tractor, and reveals the main factors and existing problems affecting the quality of rotary tillage. It can be used as a reference for those who design and use rotary cultivators.In view of the existing problems, the key matters in type selection and matching are put forward.
