Abstract: This paper discusses the application of meteorological service in disaster early warning linkage mechanism, agricultural disaster information and yield prediction, and further analyzes the existing problems of meteorological service. Finally, it discusses the countermeasures and suggestions to improve meteorological service level and disaster prevention and mitigation ability from the aspects of building modern agricultural meteorological observatory and establishing perfect meteorological disaster emergency system, which is of great significance for promoting agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation work and improving quality and efficiency of meteorological service in China.
