Abstract: The Northeast of China is one of the most important food crop producing areas in China, which plays an important supporting role in Chinese agricultural. The food development in the Northeast of China is directly related to Chinese agricultural stability and food security. This paper analyzes the types of diseases and pests encountered in the seedling growth of maize in the Northeast of China, and puts forward the corresponding control countermeasures for different diseases and pests in maize seedling.
