Abstract:
Waxy wheat is a special purpose wheat type with unique processing characteristics and nutritional quality. It not only contains more than 99% amylopectin, but also does not contain 3 waxy protein subunits. Shannong Nuomei No. 1 is a new glutinous wheat variety with high yield, high protein and high gluten cultivated by the breeding team of Shandong Agricultural University. It is the first new glutinous wheat variety with high yield approved in Shandong Province. The cultivation techniques of Shannong Nuomai No. 1 in Shandong Province and its surrounding areas were discussed based on the general situation of the varieties, in order to provide reference for the large-scale popularization and industrial development and application of the varieties.
