Abstract: In recent years, the application degree of UAV technology in agricultural production has been deepening. UAV plant protection has the advantages of high efficiency and precision, safe and green, low cost and so on, which is favored by the majority of planting subjects. Therefore, the total amount of UAV equipment for plant protection shows a rapid growth trend. This paper introduced the application status and difficulties of plant protection UAV in the citrus production of Jinxiu County, Labin City. Combined with the practical work experience and some academic research results, specific countermeasures were proposed from the aspects of improving the scene adaptability of plant protection UAV, developing special medicine for citrus UAV, strengthening the technical training of UAV operators and improving the social service network of UAV. In order to improve the application effect of plant protection UAV in citrus production in Jinxiu County and promote the high quality development of citrus industry in Jinxiu County.
