Research Progress on the Harm of Heavy Metals to Human Body in Aquatic Products

  • Low doses of heavy metals will interfere with biochemical processes, cause temporary or permanent pathological changes, and even endanger life. This article summarizes the harm of human body of the cadmium, chromium, lead, arsenic, copper, and those doses of provision tolerable weekly intake(PTWI).The contents of heavy metals in aquatic products in different regions were also compared, which can be used for reference in the research of heavy metals in water supply products.
