Study on Breeding of New Flax Variety Dingya NO.25

  • Dingya No. 25 is a new flax variety bred by crossing Baya No. 9 as female parent and 78001-15 as male parent in the Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Dingxi. The growth period was 91~119 days, the average was 106 days, the young stem was light purple, the seedling was erect, the stem was green, the petals were blue, the anther was gray blue, the branch broom type, the seed coat was brown,the plant height was 36.8~78.5 cm, the craft length was 19.8~47.2 cm, the effective number of stems per plant is 0.1~0.8, the effective number of branches per plant is 3.8~9.0, the effective number of capsules per plant is 8.0~67.2, the number of grains is 5.5~10.0, the weight of 1000 grains is 6.7~10.5 g, and the productivity per plant is 0.29~3.73 g. From 2013 to 2014, the regional trial yield was 1761.2 kg/km~2, which was 8.28% higher than that of Longya 10. In 2015, the yield of flax in Gansu Province was 1781.9 kg/km~2, which was 9.14% higher than that of Longya 10. Drought Resistance, resistance to Fusarium Wilt, resistance to lodging, high yield, good stability and adaptability, suitable for Hebei, Shanxi, Datong, Inner Mongolia, Ordos and Ulanqab, Xinjiang, Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture,Ningxia Guyuan, Gansu, Dingxi, Lanzhou, Pingliang, Baiyin, Qingyang, Qingyang, spring planting in areas with accumulated temperature≥10℃ and above 2000 ℃.
