Abstract
Based on the ground observation data, this paper analyzes the gale weather process and early warning signal release in Jilin Province on November 26, 2018. The results show that gale disasters are common in Jilin Province. Due to the occurrence of gale weather every year, the loss of industrial and agricultural production is serious. Coupled with the topographic conditions, cold vortex,low pressure and high trough are the main influence systems of gale weather. The windy weather in Jilin Province is the oblique intersection of the southwest wind in front of the trough and the isobaric line, which increases the pressure gradient, the density of warm air in front of the low pressure is large, and the downward transmission of high-altitude wind increases the ground wind speed, which promotes the occurrence and development of windy weather. Low pressure and special topographic conditions are the main reasons for the occurrence of gale weather. In addition, the coincidence between southwest wind and topographic height is more favorable for the occurrence of gale weather.
