Preliminary Report on the Introduction Experiment of Potato Varieties in High-altitude Areas of Xiahe County

n order to select suitable potato varieties for promotion in Xiahe County, comparative tests were conducted on the introduced potato varieties. The results showed that Xisen No. 6 and Ailan No. 1 performed best, with good growth, strong resistance to diseases, concentrated tuber formation, good commercial traits, and high yields. L11159-24 performed well, with concentrated tuber formation and good uniformity of tuber shape, and a high commercial rate. the control variety Atlantic showed good adaptability and high starch quality index, with great potential for yield increase.
