Abstract:
In order to investigate the effects of different selenium application methods on selenium bioenhancement and nutritional quality of wheat grains, the selenium accumulation and nutrient accumulation mechanism of different wheat cultivars(lines) were studied by using Guizimai 1 and Zhongguochun and RILs as materials by applying selenium in soil and spraying selenium on leaves.The results showed that under the same selenium amount, the two selenium application methods had no significant effect on the biomass of each part of wheat, which indicated that no matter what kind of selenium application did not had adverse effects on wheat.Selenium content in wheat grains could be increased by both selenium application methods, and the effect of selenium application in soil was better than that of leaf spraying.Additionally, selenium application had a certain effect on the contents of other mineral elements in wheat grains, and both selenium application methods could increase the contents of Mn, Fe and Zn in wheat grains, and the effect of selenium application in soil was better.Meanwhile, selenium application could also increase the contents of organic selenium and protein in wheat grains, and the main content of organic selenium was the increase of SeMet content.
