Abstract: It is an important method and measure to breed good potato varieties by cross breeding technology. Due to the influence of heredity, environment and human factors, the seed setting rate of cross of potato parents is low, which hinders the process of potato variety improvement and breeding. Potato hybrid breeding technology is a process of producing a certain variation population based on the good traits of the parents for screening and obtaining good strains, and it is an effective way to breed potato varieties at present. In this paper, through literature review and field practice, several feasible hybridization methods were put forward to improve the seed setting rate of potato hybridization, and then to breed good potato varieties, and to provide reference for potato breeders.
