Abstract:
In this paper, the combining ability of 8 agronomic traits and 2 quality traits of 12 hybrid combinations based on 3×4 NCII genetic design was analyzed, and combining ability of different sterile lines was also investigated. The results showed that each trait among different combinations was mainly influenced by additive effects, and there were also combined effects of additive and non-additive effects. Among the 3 CMS lines tested, the average yield and taste score of all the combinations produced by Pinzi 5 A were the highest, which indicated that Pinzi 5 A had potential application in hybrid rice with high quality and high yield.
