Abstract:
In order to investigate the allelopathic effects of Eupatorium adenophorum extracts on different varieties of strawberry, the extracts with concentrations of 0(ck),0.25%,1.00%,2.00% and 2.50% were used to treat the strawberry plants. The results showed that the E. adenophorum extracts could delay the germination of strawberry seeds in different degrees, and the germination rate and germination potential of different varieties were negatively correlated with the concentration of extraction solution. At the same time, the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in seedlings was positively correlated with the concentration of extracts. The activities of SOD,POD,CAT and other antioxidant enzymes increased firstly and then decreased with the increase of the concentration of extraction solution, but they were significantly higher than those of ck.These results indicated that different varieties of strawberry had different allelopathic tolerance to E. adenophorum, with the variety Tianchali being the most sensitive and the variety Baixuegongzhu being the most tolerant.
