Abstract: The Qianhuasheng 7 is a black peanut variety with high yield and good quality, which was introduced from black peanut（intermediate material） by the Institute of Crop Variety Resources of Guizhou Province.And, the peanut variety was developed by single plant selection, strain selection and group selection.This variety participated in the regional test of peanut in Guizhou province from 2012 to 2013,and the average yield of the two-year regional test was 3 711.15 kg·hm^-2,1.85% higher than that of the control.In the production test in 2014,the average yield of all three points was increased, 4 527.9 kg·hm^-2,13.38% higher than that of the control.The protein was determined by Ministry of Agriculture Oil and Product Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center（Wuhan）,with 28.22% content. In 2016,it was approved by Guizhou Crop Variety Approval Committee（Approval no.2016003） and named as Qianhuasheng 7.This paper mainly introduced the breeding process, biological characteristics, yield performance, main points of supporting cultivation techniques and suitable extension range of this variety.
