Abstract:
To breed the pepper varieties suitable for mechanized harvesting, the variation characteristics, correlation, principal component analysis and comprehensive evaluation of 14 main agronomic traits were carried out based on 33 clustered pepper germplasms. The results showed that there were significant correlation among 13 traits including node position of first flower, plant height and plant width and so on, which could effectively form comprehensive evaluation indexes for mechanized harvesting of pepper. And, the germplasms of Gzh-18-12,HSF,L 6 and SD 53 were suitable for mechanized harvesting.
