Abstract: The species diversity and distribution of wild Clematis germplasm resources in Shanxi province were investigated with the methods of literature and field investigation. The results showed that the wild germplasm resources of Clematis distributed in 38 county-level administrative districts in Shanxi province were 19 species and 8 varieties.The species mainly distributed in north and south of Taiyuan mountain area, accounting for 17.4% of the resources of Clematis of China.
