Abstract:
This study provided a comprehensive analysis of the physicochemical properties, phylogenetic tree, gene structure, protein structure and cis-acting elements of sorghum starch synthase gene family and expression pattern analysis of this family of genes by transcriptome data was conducted. In this paper, 11 starch synthase genes were identified in the whole sorghum genome using bioinformatics, including granule-bound starch synthase and soluble starch synthase. The results showed that SbGBSSⅠ was highly expressed in endosperm; SbSSⅠ, SbGBSSⅡ and SbSSⅢb were highly expressed in roots, stems, leaves and seedlings at 14 days of flowering, with the highest expression in leaves; SbSSⅠ, SbGBSSⅡ and SbSSⅢb were highly expressed in the three periods of inflorescence unfolding.
