Abstract:
The cellulose synthase gene plays different roles in the synthesis of primary and secondary cell walls, affecting the cellulose content and quality of Litsea coreana var. sinensis. Using bioinformatics methods, 17 CesAs were identified from Litsea coreana var. sinensis, and these genes were divided into 7 groups according to their phylogenetic relationship. Gene structure, chromosome localization, and gene expression analysis were conducted in different parts. The results showed that all genes had cellulose syn domains and were unevenly distributed on chromosomes; RNA-seq data analysis showed that LcoCesA1_1/3_2/3_5/3_1/3_3/2_2 was more prominently expressed in various tissues. LcoCesA3_1 had the highest relative expression in roots, stems and other parts, which was speculated to play an important role in cellulose synthesis. The study showed that the relative molecular weight of this family protein was from 18 834.17 kD to 128 366 kD; The theoretical isoelectric point(pI) was from 5.07 to 8.74, and more than half of the LcoCesA protein was rich in acidic amino acids.
